Etiquette
Welcome to our naked world! If you are already a naturist, you can expect a welcoming group of guys who will treat you with respect. If this is your first naked adventure, rest assured that once you embrace the freedom of being clothes-free, you may never want to go back.
We are not a sex club, and you won’t feel like you’re in a beauty or “endowment” contest. You will find that we are not voyeurs, nor do we carry rulers: we are too busy enjoying one another’s company to worry about such things.
Who’s Welcome?
We are a friendly and diverse group of men who appreciate social nudity. If you’re male, like-minded, and gay-friendly (or simply curious), we’d love to have you join us!
Attendees must be 21 or older.
What to Expect
We’re proud to host naturist events for men in the Syracuse area, similar to those organized by like-minded groups nationwide. Our events offer a festive, small-party atmosphere focused on casual conversations and making new connections. Activities vary, though refreshments or potluck meals are often part of the gathering. However, if cooking isn’t your thing, no worries—food adds to the fun, but it’s not the main focus.
Attendance usually ranges from thirty to forty people, and the vibe is always welcoming and friendly. Even our smaller gatherings are filled with warmth and good company—there’s never awkward silence at our events!
These are social naturist events designed to promote friendship and a sense of community in a relaxed, clothing-optional setting. These are not sex parties.
Our Do’s
Do: RSVP to Attend an Event
Members are welcome to attend our events.
RSVP in advance of attending an event. This helps our hosts plan.
Do: Be Naked!
If you’re concerned about what to wear—no worries! All you need to wear is a smile and your nicest behavior. If you’d prefer not to go barefoot, feel free to bring warm and comfortable socks, especially if the host has a shoes-off policy in their home.
The host will provide a designated space to disrobe and store your clothing. At naturist events, it’s customary to undress almost immediately after arriving. Waiting for the “right moment” isn’t necessary. By embracing nudity right away, you join in the spirit of healthy, genuinely social nudism.
Do: Bring a Towel to Sit On
Don’t forget to bring a towel to sit on—it’s a standard practice among naturists worldwide. Using a towel shows respect for the host’s furniture and helps ensure your comfort as well.
Do: A Hint of Costume and Accessory is Good Fun
A hint of costume or flattering accessory is perfectly fine—think a cap, a filmy scarf, or even a little leather. But, to put it bluntly, if you plan to cover your backside or your privates, you will be happier at other events, and will be asked to leave. Thongs, jockstraps, bikinis, or similar items are not appropriate attire. Be naked!
First-time guests sometimes worry about “measuring up” or ask if “rings” are appropriate. The answer is simple: Of course! But only if that adds to your fun.
Do: Arrive on Time
Please arrive on time, or let your host know in advance if you’ll be late. Most guys typically arrive within 10—20 minutes of the official start time, making it easy for everyone to settle in together.
It is not fashionable to come to our events late—an hour or so after they begin. Depending upon the location and setting, the host may not be able to take his clothes off until you have arrived.
Do: Bring a Guest—With Prior Approval
Members may bring guests to our events with prior approval of the hosts. Guest must be 21 or older.
If you’re a guest, it’s okay to attend one or two of our events before becoming a member. However, if you plan to attend regularly, we ask that you join our organization.
Our Don’ts
Don’t: Show Up Uninvited
New guests must consult with us well in advance of the event.
Email us at men@syracusenakedmen.com or join our organization.
Don’t: Be Disrespectful
If you’re disrespectful, you will be asked to leave.
Don’t get nervous and show up at the door drunk and offensive—it happens! Such persons will not be admitted.
This is a warm, intelligent group of well-behaved naturists.
